As our Last Mile Manager you will be owning the operational and commercial success of one of our key markets - the DACH region. Within a strong team of linehaul and last mile logistics experts we are on our mission to build a world class supply chain. This position is located in Munich and is unlimited.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• manage the business relations with the 3PL providers spanning from daily last mile transportation activities to owning commercial and contractual negotiations
• manage the daily operations of last mile logistics and collaborate closely with your 3PL logistics partners as well as internal teams
• constantly analyze the current logistics set-up and develop and implement (strategic) operational and commercial improvements
• track and report logistics costs and assist in budgeting and cost control initiatives and optimize transportation spend where possible
• build strong relationships with your 3PL partners, monitor their operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions where needed
• own and drive cross-functional & strategic projects within our roadmap to become a world-class supply chain (e.g. software roll-outs, operations & cost efficiency processes)

YOU COME WITH

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years working experience ideally gained in transportation, within a 3PL logistics provider or retailer
• negotiations and/or tender management experience preferred
• strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and 3PL partners
• detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data analysis. Excellent analytical skills, Excel proficiency, (basic) knowledge of SQL and warehouse management systems are plus
• fluency in English and German
