In our Westwing Insights category we give you an exclusive behind the scenes look into our projects, events and our culture. Today, we talk about our Health Week.

The week was filled with various activities aimed at promoting healthy habits and inspiring vibrant lifestyles. To start off the week, we engaged in a remote stress management session. This session provided practical tips to incorporate stress-reducing practices into our daily lives, helping us enhance our overall well-being by identifying stressors and learning effective techniques. Health Week 4

On Tuesday, we participated in an invigorating neuro racing event. This brain-controlled carrera track allowed our team members to experience their own brain activity and receive personalized recommendations for nurturing mental health. Following this, we embraced a yoga session, leveraging yoga’s positive impact on mental and physical health, promoting relaxation and better sleep.

Health Week 3

Wednesday focused on achieving balance in life — discovering strategies to find equilibrium and cultivate healthy habits. The day concluded with a soul-soothing sound healing session, immersing ourselves in a meditative state with the help of sound bowls.Thursday started with another energizing yoga session, setting the tone for the day. After that we opened our delicious Smoothie Bar, serving nutritious smoothies made with fresh ingredients.

Additionally, we offered a body boost lifestyle course, empowering team members to structure a healthy and balanced diet and create personalized meal plans for a healthier lifestyle. The day concluded with a calming restore and breathe course, combining restorative yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation.

The week wrapped up with a session of progressive muscle relaxation, providing a peaceful start to the weekend, allowing us to find calm amidst daily challenges in both our personal and professional lives. In addition to all the activities we also provided healthy culinary options to our team members: from fresh apples and a snack bar with nuts and dried fruits as delicious treats to fresh water enriched with minerals from Waterdrop.

This week reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards at Westwing by prioritizing mental and physical well-being. Health is the cornerstone of success in the workplace, fueling productivity, creativity, and overall well-being. That’s why we’ve dedicated an entire week to celebrate and prioritize our greatest asset — our team members’ health.
