Westwing is Europe‘s #1 in Beautiful Living e-commerce — a premium one-stop destination for Design Lovers.

We create an inspirational shopping experience by offering daily Retail Campaigns with carefully curated themes, alongside our permanent assortment—from the best partner brands to our own Westwing Collection.


Our mission is to inspire our customers with captivating home stories, showcasing the most inspirational homes and making them shoppable, as well as through a premium selection of products.

Founders & Management

Westwing was founded by Chief Creative Officer Delia Lachance (née Fischer) and Stefan Smalla and their co-founders Tim Schäfer, Matthias Siepe and Georg Biersack. Andreas Hoerning (CEO) and Sebastian Westrich (CFO) constitute the Management Board of the company. The Management Board is complemented by a stellar team of experienced executives in the headquarters and in the local countries.

DELIA LACHANCE

Founder & Chief Creative Officer

Prior to Westwing, Delia worked as an editor at ELLE Magazine and ELLE Decoration. Together with her team, she inspires style-conscious people across Europe every day. She made history in 2018 when she rang the bell for Westwing's IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In addition to her professional activities, Delia has become a pioneer of female entrepreneur and leadership.

ANDREAS HOERNING

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to becoming CEO, Andreas was Chief Commercial Officer and Founder of the Westwing Collection. Before Westwing, Andreas was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he supported industrial and consumer goods clients in strategy, operating model and performance. He holds a PhD in commercial law from Berlin’s Humboldt University.

SEBASTIAN WESTRICH

Chief Financial Officer

Having spent over eight years at Hubert Burda Media, Sebastian has held various management roles within the Digital division, establishing himself as a trusted expert in these domains. Before joining Westwing, Sebastian served as the CFO of Cyberport and held the position of CFO and Managing Director at Burda Digital, further showcasing his expertise in the fields of e-commerce and finance. Prior to his tenure at Cyberport and Burda Digital, Sebastian was leading the Investment Management at Burda Digital.
