Other claims accepted

In addition to formal certifications, we display a strict and limited selection of other product and material claims. To prevent generalised or open-ended environmental statements, we only permit the following three specific, quantified claims:

Recycled Content: Quantified statements specifying the exact percentage of recycled materials used in the product (e.g., Contains 50% recycled polyester).
Reclaimed Content: Quantified statements specifying the exact percentage of reclaimed or salvaged components utilised (e.g., Made with 80% reclaimed oak).
Durability and Longevity: Specific product lifespan claims that are officially backed by the EU Harmonised Label. We only display these longevity claims if the manufacturer provides this standardized durability guarantee for a period exceeding two years.

No other non-certified claims are permitted. These three approved claims are only published once our partners provide the substantial, verified documentation required to back them up.
