Westwing launches B2B service in France with exclusive event in Paris

Munich, 21 July 2025 - Westwing, Europe’s #1 in Beautiful Living e-commerce, officially launched its B2B service in the French market with an exclusive event in Paris, hosted in a temporary showroom created for the launch of the Westwing I Crosby Studios collection. Bringing together leading voices from the worlds of design, architecture, and interiors, the event marked a key milestone in Westwing’s European expansion and underlined the company’s ambition to further strengthen its B2B offering across the continent.

Westwing’s B2B service is a dedicated offering for professionals in the fields of interior design, architecture, hospitality, real estate and office planning. It provides tailored support throughout every stage of a project – from inspiration and curated product sourcing to personalized consulting and logistical coordination. With access to Westwing’s extensive assortment of furniture and home décor, exclusive trade conditions, and a team of experts who understand the unique requirements of commercial and residential projects, the service enables clients to realise sophisticated interiors efficiently and seamlessly.

The evening began with a welcome address by Alexander Hamacher, Head of B2B Retail Services GmbH, who introduced Westwing’s dedicated B2B service and its scope. Tailored specifically for professionals in the interior, design, and hospitality sectors, the B2B offering includes curated product sourcing, expert consulting, and project-based solutions – all designed to streamline complex workflows while ensuring a sophisticated aesthetic standard.

At the heart of the evening was a panel talk moderated by renowned architect Sophie Dries, known for her innovative work at the intersection of architecture, design, and art. The panel featured distinguished guests Dan Thawley – Australian journalist, curator, and founder of Matter & Shape – and acclaimed French craft designer Wendy Andreu, widely recognised for her pioneering use of materials. Together, the panel explored three themes central to today’s design discourse: The City that Shapes Us, Design Now, and The Future of Beautiful Living.

In discussing The City that Shapes Us, the panel reflected on how Paris, with its timeless elegance, architectural heritage, and vibrant creative energy, continues to profoundly influence contemporary design. The conversation then shifted to Design Now, focusing on how sustainability, the use of natural materials, and adaptable furniture concepts reflect today’s cultural values and enhance wellbeing in everyday spaces. Looking ahead, The Future of Beautiful Living, highlighted how responsible and technology-driven design will shape the living spaces of tomorrow, creating highly personalised environments that seamlessly blend functionality with atmosphere.

A brief Q&A session followed the discussion, offering the audience the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers and share their perspectives. The evening concluded with drinks and networking, fostering dialogue between guests and strengthening connections within the French design community.

The event not only marked the launch of Westwing’s B2B service in France, but also served as a platform for inspiration, exchange, and collaboration – setting the tone for a strong market presence and future partnerships.
