Westwing launches first brand awareness campaign for YouTube and Social Media

Westwing, the European leader in inspiration-based Home and Living eCommerce launches the first brand awareness campaign in cooperation with DDB Düsseldorf.

Munich, 17th June 2021.“Let inspiration in” is the title of Westwing’s first online and TV campaign to increase brand awareness, written by DDB Düsseldorf. In creative collaboration with the production company Mutter & Vater, three humorous and entertaining spots were created, which are not only used in the online and social media area, but are also broadcast as TVC for the European soccer championship on public television. The spots are directed by Arrigo Reuss.

„Daily inspiration is Westwing’s mission. With our campaign we want to show in a witty way how our interior can always create new life stories for us”, said Tobias Seitz, Chief Marketing Officer Westwing.

The interior in our home surrounds us every day and often accompanies us for many years. A relationship similar to a friendship or partnership. When it comes to people who become part of our lives, we are constantly evolving, writing new life stories and are often choosy - why not when it comes to interior design? These are the situations that the three films under the slogan “Let inspiration in” present with dryly humorous, distinctive short stories. A boring date or an intrusive guest at dinner - the perception of the protagonists is the same. They realize that their lives deserve a breath of fresh air just as much as the décor that surrounds them. Suddenly, not only the unwelcome guests disappear, but also the unloved furnishing details. Playfully, these are easily and quickly replaced by inspiring ideas from Westwing - and let inspiration into their lives.

In close cooperation we created three humorous spots around the core theme inspiration, which show that we all can use a little more inspiration in our lives.“
