Our Vision

Be the European leader in home & living eCommerce for Home Enthusiasts, by creating the most inspiring customer experience and the most loved brand.

We are a true ‘curated shoppable magazine’: we aim to inspire with décor tips, home stories and offer our customers carefully selected products from famous brands, upcoming designers, as well as our own Westwing Collection products.

Founders & Management

Westwing was founded by Chief Creative Officer Delia Lachance (née Fischer) and CEO Stefan Smalla and their co-founders Tim Schäfer, Mathias Siepe and Georg Biersack. Stefan Smalla (Founder & CEO) and Sebastian Säuberlich (CFO) constitute the Management Board of the company. The Management Board is complemented by a stellar team of experienced executives in the headquarters and in the local countries.

DELIA LACHANCE

Founder & Chief Creative Officer

Prior to founding Westwing, Delia worked at ELLE Magazine / ELLE Decoration / Burda Media as Editor for Home & Living, Lifestyle and Beauty.

STEFAN SMALLA

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Prior to founding Westwing, Stefan worked at Bain & Co. as a Manager. In the early days of eCommerce, he was CTO and VP eCommerce at dooyoo, and founded a social network.

SEBASTIAN SÄUBERLICH

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to becoming CFO, Sebastian was COO for Westwing’s Private Label business, MD in our Daily Themes Business, and Deputy CFO. Before Westwing, Sebastian was CFO and COO at Confiserie Heilemann, Investment professional at DPE, and Senior Consultant for Bain & Co. He holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School and a Master in Business Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
